In honor of our 18 year anniversary, I thought my husband, Tony, would be the perfect Bar Star. Not only is he so cute, but he is the most supportive, incredibly loving and encouraging husband ever! He has been coming to classes since we opened. At first, he did it as a support and then he became addicted to the burn. He couldn’t believe how challenged he was in every class. He is cut and muscular, and his form is perfection. Burr Leonard even told him he should be an instructor when she was here…haha!
Well, that isn’t going to happen, but he continues to be my rock throughout all of this, and I could have never done it without him. A few weeks ago, he sent me an email. A very organic testimonial that he wanted to share with me. That is where I came up with the idea to feature him.
Soooo, as you know, I am taking a break from the Bar Method as I pulled my groin muscle. I went ahead and did two sessions of P90X. These workouts were mostly upper body so that I would not irritate my groin.
Prior to Bar Method, I would work out 4-5 times per week through P90X, Insanity, cycling and running. I started Bar Method over one year ago and have religiously attended classes 3-4 times per week. Well, this was an interesting experiment as I wanted to see how I would feel going back to P90X after one year of Bar Method.
Amazingly, I completed the workout without the fatigue I used to have. I also exceeded the level of intensity from the last time I completed a P90X session. Bottom line is that I have never felt better and it’s all because of Bar Method.
